New Visitor

Not only have i managed to get a new picture, i also have a new visitor to the garden. This little one was foraging about when i happen to look out. Cant say if it has called before but i certainly have not seen it until now.

By the size of it, would say it is an early this years baby. Will keep a lookout to see if it will be a regular to the garden.

Two Tics and a hedgehog

This is the regular hedgehog that uses the water feature. See that it has two tics on it. Dont like these nasty little things. Will monitor it for a while and if need be take them off.

The smaller hedgehog in front ran all the way over from another feeder to try and push the large one off. Did not succeed and they both settled down to eat. After they both went their separate ways.

Drinking With Flowers

This is the first photo i have got with the hedgehog using the step i put in at the water feature. Was a bit of a climb for it before. Did not have any problem getting up for a drink.

Supper

Dont know if it is the same hedgehog as in the other two photos. But this time i got a better photo of it having its mealworms. The covered bird feeder has come in handy for the nocturnal visitors.

Bit Of A Stretch

This was such a joy to see. I wondered when i put this water feature here if the hedgehogs would have a drink or a bath in it. I can see i will have to put a step to it to make life easier. Was a bit of a stretch for the poor thing.

Having A Drink

As the hedgehog was not in much of a hurry to finish drinking i decided to get another photo just a touch wider.
